Moisés Chace

Acquired from Detroit in the 2024 Gregory Soto trade, Chace brings a mid-to-high-90s fastball with an unusually low release point that plays up, backed by a sweeper, cutter and changeup. He underwent Tommy John surgery in May 2025 and spent the first half of 2026 rehabbing, throwing bullpens as of midseason with a return to games targeted for later this year. The Phillies still see a starter's four-pitch mix here, but the elbow surgery adds real risk to his timeline.
